My name is Csilla Szabo. I am a qualified and registered practitioner.

I have a clinical, reproductive science background (with HCPC registration) and have been working in private health care for over 20 years. 

I graduated in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture at The Confucius Institute, London South Bank University. I am registered with the British Acupuncture Council who is the UK's main regulatory body for acupuncturists.

I studied Herbal Medicine at the Phoenix Medical Academy, which was an accredited course by the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners.

Since my graduation, I have been continuing to undergo postgraduate trainings as part of my professional development.

Clinic for Children  

One of the areas of my expertise is paediatric acupuncture, which is for babies, children, and teenagers. Children can be treated with acupuncture for many different complains, including insomnia, cold conditions, headache, allergies, asthma, eczema, ADHD, anxiety, bed wetting and so on.

In the children clinic, I use child-friendly needles as well as several needle free techniques, like moxibustion, cupping and gua sha. Tui na paediatric medical massage and Shonishin paediatric acupuncture are both very gentle and effective techniques and often used for helping my young patients.

Women's Clinic

I am also specialized in gynaecology, fertility and pregnancy acupuncture. I happily support my patients with oriental integrated medicine through their IVF treatments. I believe, these two disciplines I am involved - modern science and ancient wisdom - perfectly complement each other.

Pregnancy acupuncture and moxibustion are both very gentle, safe and effective treatments. My clients feel very relaxed after these sessions. Traditional Chinese medicine is well known about turning breech babies in the most natural and safest way.

Pain Clinic 

Many of my clients come to see me with painful issues. Most often I see people with frozen shoulder, lower back pain and sciatica pain. Chronic headaches and migraine are also very common complaints of both children and adults in my pain clinic.
